“We are with Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation since last Ten Years” says Ashfaque Khopekar.

“Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards” was started by us, and we are with this foundation since last 10 years, and no trusty from this trust would take any responsibility of arranging the programme for these award, neither anyone would spend a single penny on it, Harsh Gupta was taking all the responsibility since last 9 years, rest all were just interested in earning money, because of these reason trustees like Mithun Chakraborty, Johny Lever and Pehlaj Nihalani kept themselves apart from this trust, some names are there but only for name sake.

We also got separated from this trust after year 2014 because the money generated through the programme near about 30 lakh were not used in welfare. Until now not a single technician from film fraternity or any member of Dadasaheb’s family have received any help from this foundation. Every year chairman is being changed and after using there goodwill they are being changed

.

When we got separated after 2014 From Dada Saheb Phalke Film  Academy,these award function were stopped, then we laid foundation of “Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Award” where deserving technicians from Film Industry are being awarded along with cash prize of Rupees 11,000/-, we kept family of Dadasaheb with us started honoring them by giving awards by their hands. after grand success of function held in 2015 we started our welfare programmes also, and from since last three years we are organizing the programmes on our own. Harsh Gupta started Dadasaheb Phlake Excellence Award since last two years, every thing was going right, observing this in current year Shri Ganesh Jain, chairman of Academy, traded away the tittle in his very first year tenure in Rupees 2 Lakhs to business man S Kumar, so know this academy has become a brand of S Kumar. No Jury members, no advisory committee, they are giving away awards to whomsoever they like. Now you can decide which award is honorable one.

Our Foundation is working for welfare of artists and technician of film industry, aor aim is to keep intire film industry of India intact, Our “Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation” doesn’t want to make money.
