Writer-producer-director-editor Dilip Gulati’s MAFIA BIGG BOSS has successfully entered 3rd week at Imperial Talkies,Mumbai and three more cinema hallson 19th May. In the first week it ran in 12 cinema halls and in 2nd week in 11 cinema halls in Mumbai city, suburbs and parts of Maharashtra. The film will be opening in Gujarat and Saurashtra and other territories shortly and is on its way to complete 50 days of its run in Mumbai city.A delighted Dilip Gulati said:” I am happy to see the audiences response for MAFIA BIGG BOSS and in spite of the BAHUBALI craze, I am watching several people entering the cinema halls to watch my film too which is a non-starcast film made on a modest budget. I have made over 60 films in the past 28 years and that too in Hindi,Bhojpuri,Gujarati etc.
My film JUNGLE BEAUTY had a 4-week run at Minerva and ran to packed shows. CHHOTE NAWAB BADE NAWAB which I had made with duplicates of Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda also was hugely successful and gave profits to its producer Naresh Mohnot. The Ravi Kishen starrer HUM HAIN JODI NO.1 fetched a big subsidy from the U.P Govt and it also fared very well at the box-office.I now have three more releases- Rani Chatterji SAWARIA MOHE RANG DE and the Rajpall Yadav starrer BHAAGYA NA JAANE KOI, both produced by Sushila Bhatia and BHAIRI BHAIL SAJANWA HAMAAR ready for release in June and they are also directed by me. The year 2017 has been extremely rewarding year for me and I am also planning to start the shooting of three more films titled MAFIA DARBAR, a sequel to MAFIA BIGG BOSS, BUNKING STUDENTS which will be depicting the life of the modern day college students and BEWAFAYEE SONAM KI, a controversial film.
